Training

SWAP provides training on refugee awareness and the asylum process.

We run a regular programme of ‘Introduction to Working with People Seeking Asylum and People with Refugee Status’ training. Sessions are run regularly for SWAP volunteers. We also provide training for service providers, community and voluntary sector organisations and members of the general public.

Standard Packages and Bespoke Training

The training builds on the excellent reputation of our predecessor, Friendly Faces Mentoring Project and SWAP and comes in the form of standard packages and bespoke training. The positive feedback we have received from training coordinators and participants make us confident that our sessions will add value to your staff, your volunteers and your organisation.
